I'm three months old! Mom is feeling like I am growing too fast and wants me to slow down a bit. I am super cuddly and extra sweet. I am not rolling over yet, likely because I am so big (I'm in the 90th percentile for weight and the 75th for height) but will surely start hitting some physical milestones soon. For now I love to talk and coo, smile and laugh, bat at my toys and sleep well with a bunch of noise. Iwake up two times at night, around 2 or 3 and 6 am very predictibly and am on a schedule. I don't mind riding in the car at all. I've been caught multiple times trying to watch TV. I really want to know what my sisters are up to, it sounds like they have a lot of fun together and I can't wait to join in!

Let it Snow!

Would you believe it actually snowed in Texas? It only lasted about 15 minutes, but it sure was fun! We enjoyed running around in the snowflakes and were rather dissappointed that we were unable to build a snowman. Maybe we'll see more snow in another 5 years...

My First Longhorns Game!

As an extra special treat, Dad invited me to accompany him to a longhorns game! He has season tickets this year and I was so excited to be his date. We had an awesome time - jets flew overhead, I watched the first half in the stadium, I wasn't afraid of old smokey and we went on a post game adventure too!

My first corn dog. Loved it!

Six Weeks

I am the sweetest baby you'll ever meet! I still spend my days eating and sleeping, mostly.
I am beginning to make adorable cooing noises and have mastered my first social smiles.
I am a chunk! My cheeks are so chubby and I am seemingly big all over.
When I was just born and still in the hospital, mom made a deal with me. She said that if I stayed as sweet as I was then, she would give me lots of treats when I got older. Looks like I will be holding her to her promise!

Eighteen Months

I was just thinging that an update on me was long overdue!

Now that I am 18 months old, I can do so many new things. I can sing with 90% accuracy the entire ABC song. I can count to 10. I know all of my colors and many shapes too. I can also correctly identify many letters! I can say our dinnertime prayer and can recite the Our Father prayer fairly well. A lot of this knowledge comes from having an older sister who is joyfully exposing me to so many things - thanks, Haley! But also I am a bit advanced. I carry on decent conversations using short sentances too and am a little parrot, repeating everything.

I like to watch curious george on TV and love reading books. My favorites are Chicka Chicka ABC and Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do You See?" I like to play dress up and play with barbies and weebles. I love to be outside.

I throw my share of tantrums too, when I fail to get my way. Mom is having to learn to deal with this habit.

I love to eat M&M's and macaroni cheese. My favorite veggie is broccoli, favorite fruit is berries (blue, black and raspberries)

I was a mommy's girl, big time as you may remember but since the arrival of Berkley I have a new BFF, my Daddy.

Pumpkin Patchy

We drove out to Marble Falls once again this year for the annual pumpkin patch festivities. Grandma, Aunt Vanessa and Caysen joined us, as mom would not have been brave enough to do this alone. We had a blast and enjoyed painting pumpkins, making a big scarecrow, cutting flowers and playing in the pumpkins!

two weeks

What have I been up to for the past two weeks? You are looking at it! I have been asleep, mostly. I eat a lot too, in fact, between my first and second weeks of life I managed to gain an entire pound! As of last week I am 9 pounds 5 ounces and am already in size one diapers. Mom and Dad think that I am already growing up too fast. I also enjoy a few minnutes of tummy time a few times a day and like listening to my sisters play - boy are they loud.

If you're happy and you know it...

Clap your hands

If you're happy and you know it...
Jump around

If you're happy and you know it ...
hang around

If you're happy and you know it...
Swing so high

If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it!

Tidbits

In case you are wondering, I am LOVING school. My teacher is wonderful and very loving, I am truly enjoying learning and I come home with around 7 completed projects every week - and I am only there for two days.

We are learning to memorize bible verses and I have quite a memory.

We talk about a letter and a number each week which is a bit redundant for me since I can already write the majority of them. One of my biggest accomplishments in the past few months is mastering writing my name all by myself!

If you haven't seen me in awhile you'd be quite impressed. I am fully communicative and even speak in sentances, such as "Love you, Mommy" and "Where are you Daddy?"

I can even count to 10!!

While Haley is in school Mom and I have enjoyed some quality alone time together and had a blast at swimming lessons. I do miss Haley though, we truly enjoy playing together.
